Comedy and jazz make happy bedfellows at the Hideaway, hidden away in a quiet mews just behind Streatham's busy High Road but just one minute from the train station. There are regular live performances of jazz, swing, soul and blues with appearances from established artists and star performers as well as new talent. Then there's the weekly comedy night run by Crack Comedy who present a reliable roster of comedians including East Ender Jeff Innocent and Mitch Benn, a regular writer and performer on BBC Radio 4's The Now Show.
