Oliver Jeffers: Observations on Modern LifeIrish artist Oliver Jeffers is best known for his beautiful picture books - he won a BAFTA for the animated short film of Lost and Found - but he's also a fine artist with a painting in the National Portrait Gallery. At Lazinc, Observations on Modern Life gives a comprehensive overview of the artist's sculptural and collage work from the past decade, featuring approximately 50 pieces. Through humour, Jeffers uses maps and globes addressing the arbitrary nature of the carving up of land and drawing of borders. His works also comment on the speed in which we live and society's rapid consumption of information.

About Lazinc

Formerly located at Rathbone Place in Fitzrovia, when it was known as the Lazarides gallery, Lazinc was first established in 2006 by contemporary art specialist Steve Lazarides. It opened its doors at this Mayfair location in January 2018 with a critically acclaimed solo exhibition by celebrated French artist, JR. More about Lazinc
