Human Rights Watch Film FestivalThe annual Human Rights Watch Film Festival is this year spread across four screens city-wide, with screenings at RIBA, the Regent Street Cinema, BFI Soutbank and the Barbican. A powerful collection of films dealing with the subject of global injustice, this year's festival opens with a screening of Daniel McCabe's powerful film, This Is Congo. The documentary gives an unfiltered look at the country, from the rise of Rwandan and Ugandan-backed M23 rebels in the North Kivu region in 2012 to the present day. Further screenings include 12 Days, The Poetess, The Long Season and Women of the Venezuelan Chaos.
