Homegrown Festival: OccupyOccupy expands Battersea Arts Centre's annual Homegrown Festival of young voices and emerging talent from four days to four weeks. The month long festival features six world premieres, gig theatre, live games, virtual experiences, rap poetry and installations. A dynamic collective aged 16 to 25 stages a London City Takeover (5 Apr to 7 Apr) as Battersea Arts Centre, BFI, the Roundhouse, Tate, Wired4Music and the Young Vic all give them space to share their visions of the future. High Rise eState of Mind, a new show from the makers of BAC Beatbox Academy's Frankenstein, exposes young people's fears of where will they live. An interactive theatre game of survival, love in the digital age and exploration of non-binary identity are just three further strands in the packed programme.
