Great British Food FestivalTaking place in the walled gardens, the Great British Food Festival comes to Chiswick House and Gardens for the second year running. Fifty different traders will be there offering artisan food direct from the producer and street food. In the marquee, experts chefs give demos, sharing tips on everything from baking to fine dining. There'll also be foodie talks, men vs food and cake competitions - enter a cake to get free entry to the festival - plus there's live music throughout the day and into the evenings. A fun day out for all the family with kids' cookery lessons, entertainment and face-painting.

About Chiswick House and Gardens

A former royal residence and stunning example of classical 18th-century design, Chiswick House originally belonged to the "architect Earl" Lord Burlington, an avid traveller and lover of Italian architecture. The Palladian revival house assumes the guise of an octagonal domed villa, allegedly inspired by the Villa Capra "La Rotonda" outside Vicenza. More about Chiswick House and Gardens
