February Half Term: Myths and Fairytales, London Transport Museum
THIS EVENT ENDED ON THE 18TH FEBRUARY 2018
Nearby

This February half term families can delve into myth and magic at London Transport Museum with a week of family activities. Taking the posters in the museum's latest display as inspiration, children can join storytime sessions about Hermes, the Greek God of travellers, and make and take activities where they can create their own headdress to take home. Use feathers and flowers to create your own headdress, in a nod to the themes and characters depicted in the Myths and Fairytales poster display.
About London Transport Museum
After a two-year, £22 million refurbishment the London Transport Museum reopened on 22 November 2007 revealing more exhibition space than before. The museum travels back through the 200-year history of public transport, arranged according to several themes: London Transport's famous design heritage, the poster collection, public transport during both World Wars and plans for the capital's development in the twenty-first century.
