Citadel FestivalAfter three highly successful years, during which time it has made a name for itself as one of London's best new festivals, Citadel moves to a new location this July: Brockwell Park. The one-day festival of music, food, theatre, art and entertainment often secures good headline acts. Last year indie rock band Foals played their only UK festival of the year here and masters of modern electronic music, Bonobo, also headlined. As well as music on the main stage there's a good choice of alternative entertainment from dance and drawing to screen printing and children's workshops, fashion and beauty stalls, fitness activities like disco dodgeball, and Sunday Papers Live with invited speakers creating a forum for debate.

About Brockwell Park

Perhaps one of London's loveliest leafy expanses, Brockwell Park has become a mecca for fun-loving kiddies. Often termed "Brixton's Beach", the park is remarkable for its large lido, now one of the few remaining outdoor swimming pools in London. It is an ideal place to take a dip in the summer and catch some rays. More about Brockwell Park
