AI: More Than HumanA major centre-wide exhibition presented in a festival style at the Barbican Centre, AI: More than Human delves into our relationship with artificial intelligence, exploring how it could potentially revolutionise our lives. Artists, scientist and researchers have come together to present an unprecedented survey of the creative and scientific developments in artificial intelligence. Through a programme of talks, debates, concerts and screenings, the public are invited to experience AI's capabilities first-hand. The programme includes a discussion with BBC Radio 3 broadcasters on how AI is impacting our creativity, a conversation with author Ian McEwan and professor Murray Shanahan about how much of what used to be make-believe is now becoming a reality, and a screening of Greg Kohs' documentary AlphaGo, which follows the first formal match of a computer programme when competing with a human in the ancient Chinese game of Go. The event will also look at the future of food, the impact of 'deepfakes' and the next generation of automation in the workplace.
